SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
7:00am Open 5,000 Meter Race (Open to the Public - Limit 200)
8:00 am Varsity Girls’ 5,000 meter race (Limit 10 per team)
8:30 am Varsity Boys’ 5,000 meter race (Limit 10 per team)
9:00 am JV Girls’ and Boys’ 2 Mile race (Unlimited)

COURSE:
The course is a beautiful, shady 5,000 meter flat course on grass located in Daffin Park in historic Savannah, Georgia. This is a great spectator course with an exciting finish inside Optimist Stadium.

COURSE INSPECTION: Friday, August 23rd 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

RUNNERS EXPO: There will be a runner’s expo sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports. This expo will be held at Daffin Park.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, August 21, 2013
FEE: $50.00 per race per team or $10.00 per runner.
PAYABLE: Fleet Feet Sports 3405 Waters Ave. Savannah GA 31404

SCORING AND AWARDS
1. We will use Event Tech for our computerized team scores using Chronotrack.
2. For each varsity race, we will present 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team trophies and 10 individual medals, a special 1st place award to the individual winner in the male and female categories.
3. For each Jr. Varsity race, we will present trophies to the top 2 teams.

PACKETS:
Packets will be available beginning Friday, August 23 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports at 3405 Waters Avenue or beginning at 6:00 am on race day at the course. They will include course maps, competition numbers, and instructions.

DRESSING ROOMS:
There are no dressing or shower facilities at Daffin Park. We encourage all teams to make use of the facilities at their hotel. There are restrooms provided at the site.

From Highway I-95
Exit on Abercorn Street / GA-204 East
Continue to follow Abercorn Street / GA-204 East for 7 miles
Turn Right onto US-80 East / East Victory Drive East for 1.2 miles
End at Daffin Park - East Victory Drive, Savannah, GA

From Highway I-16
I-16 East / GA-404 East via EXIT 99A - Savannah for 7.9 miles
Merge GA-204 West via exit 165 toward 37th street for 1.0 miles
Right onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. for 0.3 miles
Left onto US-80 East / West Victory Drive / GA-26 East for 1.7 miles
End at Daffin Park - East Victory Drive, Savannah, GA
