The 3rd Annual Savannah Mile will be run in downtown Savannah on Memorial Day weekend. This promises to be one of the most exciting running events in Savannah! The course takes you one mile straight down Drayton Avenue, starting near the south end of Forsyth Park, finishing on Broughton Street.

The Mile is a unique running event that attracts all levels of participants from the very young to the master’s runner who is young at heart. The Savannah Mile will be run in several heats which will include a family division, five year age groups guaranteeing many award winners, climaxing with an elite division that will pr omise to bring a competitive finish and extremely fast times.

A. 7:40am (non-timed) Family Heat-Families, Strollers, Dogs
B. 8:00am-9-under, 10-14, 15-19, Boys & Girls
C. 8:20am-20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, Men’s & Womens
D. 8:40am-40-44, 45-49, 5 year age groups up to 80+, Mens & Womens
E. 9:00am-Memory Walk for the families of the fallen
F. 9:30am-Womens Elite
G. 9:40am-Mens Elite

Waiver to be signed at Registration and Packet-Pickup

All of the proceeds for The Savannah Mile go to The 200 Club of the Coastal Empire. 

The 200 club of the coastal empire

The principal objective of these organizations is to provide immediate financial assistance to the surviving spouse and children of local law enforcement officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line-of-duty while protecting their communities.

The Two Hundred Club of the Coastal Empire was incorporated on October 16, 2000, as a Georgia nonprofit charitable organization 501(c)(3). The board consists of members of the business, law enforcement, judicial, professional, religious and academic communities.
