Race Day Schedule:
6:30am - 7:45pm - Team Meet and Greet
6:30am - 7:45am - Packet Pick-Up & Registration
7:00am- Survivor Cafe / Sponsor Booths Open
8:00am - 8:15am - Opening Ceremony / Survivor & Memorial Recognition / Race Warm-Up
8:15am - 5K Start / 1 mile walk start to follow
10:00am - Closing Ceremony / Awards / Announce top fundraiser to date

The Susan G. Komen Foundation is the world's largest grassroots program of breast cancer survivors and concerned activists who dedicate their time and their efforts into raising money for breast cancer awareness and empowering women everywhere.

Thanks to fundraising efforts by events like Komen Race for the Cure®, for 2009, the Komen Foundation invested $170 million in research, education and health services. Thus, becoming the world's largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. In addition, 75% of the funds that are raised in Coastal Georgia stay in the community to provide community education, screening and outreach programs.

Race Team Registration

A team is a group of 5 or more participants who register under a common team name.
Any company, family, group of friends, club, community organization, school or faith group can form a team. The top fundraising team will receive American Airline Tickets: Roundtrip air transportation on American Airlines or American Eagle to any destination in the country! 

The Savannah Sports Council awarded Race for the Cure, 2009 as The Best Sporting Event of the Year! Good work to everyone who participated in Race For The Cure.
