Established in 1978, the Striders consist of many members of various levels of fitness from walkers to elite athletes. Their goal is to promote running and good health and they welcome all those interested in learning more about health and exercise. They also offer race services to a lot of local events all year long.

A life-changing, non-profit prevention program for girls in grades 3 through 8, which combines training for a 5K (3.1 mile) running event with healthy living education. Their mission is to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.

A family friendly running club in Bluffton, South Carolina with a focus on overall health and well-being, an increased sense of community and the ability to give back to friends and neighbors. A group in the process of developing a community, with individuals in the Pooler and surrounding areas, whose mutual interests allow them to achieve their personal fitness goals, by supporting each other while enjoying the benefits of running and walking. They have come together because they enjoy running, friendship and team unity. They also enjoy doing different events together around the area from 5Ks to Marathons.
