Race Proceeds     Proceeds will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a nationwide group of people working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Founded in 1999, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has grown into the only national organization fighting pancreatic cancer in a comprehensive way.
Fundraising     Upon registering online, you will be able to create a user name and password during check-out. With the user name and password you can login and create your own personal fundraising web page! We encourage everyone to fundraise - it's fun, rewarding, and you can earn fun prizes for doing so!

Details     Be part of a day of inspiration and hope, and help support the fight against pancreatic cancer. Join the Savannah Affiliate at PurpleStride Savannah 2011, taking place at Tybee Pier! This is the perfect event to bring the whole family, meet others and create memories. We offer great incentives for fundraising and all proceeds benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Stride with others who are just as passionate about finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Come enjoy a 5K run/walk and PurpleLight vigil to honor and remember loved ones, music, kids' activities, refreshments, and much more! Be sure to register online by October 18 to guarantee a T-shirt.
Race Course     Starting and ending at the Tybee Island pier, this course is entirely on the beach right along the water at low tide in the hard packed sand.
